Hey, at first i thought it was firefox, but it happens with msn and IE. Sometimes the net works.. sometimes it takes a couple trys to load a page. its getting really annoying when im trying to load a page and it just hangs for ages and then ''address not found'' I just formatted and it happened last time. before i formatted everything was fine. just had a trojan.. so i reinstalled. any help would be great thanks EDIT: youtube videos don't load either
do you have any antispyware programs running in the background? If you do that's your problem. Antispyware software has to analyze all reads/writes to the hard drive that's why it slowsdown everything. I was having similar problems and couldn't figure out the cause. When I deleted my antispyware program (webroot spyware sweeper) my problems dissappear. Some of the free antispyware softwares are very sluggish, even more than webroot.
