i am trying to reformat my computer i currently have a sata drive and a ide, sata being my main HD and im trying to reformat it using window xp pro and when i get to the screen to choose where i want to install windows it doesnt recgonize my sata hard drive. is there a different method on reformatting a sata drive i dont know about ? please help. thanks you
u need to install the sata drive, when it comes up with press f6 if you are installing 3rd party ... u should have a floppy disk with the driver on put it in hit f6 and should be ok.
