I tried restoring my computer (a 32 bit vista HP AMD 64) and somehow the disk had an error and basically wouldn't allow me to use the computer anymore. So i downloaded another copy of vista and it installed. But it won't reconize internet. Both wifi and plugging it it and they both worked before. Any ideas?
are the drivers for the wifi & onboard lan card loaded? any exclamation marks or unknown devices in device manager?
Ah I downloaded them and installed then I was able to get online. Then windows reported from errors and some updates for the drivers plus video drivers so I installed all of them. Now I have a problem and I don't know if it was any of the updates since I didn't check to see if it worked before I installed them but I can't connect to my tv. its not the cords or tv because I used another laptop and it worked perfect. I am not sure what my computer is it has 2 different numbers on the top of the screen it says its a hp pavilion dv6000 and on the bottom of the computer it says hp pavilion dv6500. if any of that could help. Thanks!
