compaq presario f500

    i have xp home on the laptop, i have had to reinstall the laptop and cannot find the driver for the video controller vga compatable, in device manager it has a yellow question mark next to it with an exclamation mark in a yellow circle please help me.

    well its kinda a software issue. i mean windows xp and drivers are both software not hardware, yes?

    Software discussion relates to software issues is the best way i could put it,your issue is hardware related,yep confuses me at times too,however it makes sense too separate the topics.
