Compatible Hard Drives for HD Advance

    I just received my copy of HD Advance, and it wouldn't detect my hard drive. I installed a Maxtor (DiamondMax 9, 80GB ATA/133, model # 6Y080L0). I thought this would be one of the more compatible HD's...guess not.

    Anyone else have this problem, and can suggest a HD that'll work?

    I've already refered to that site. I'm going to try the Maxtor 120GB as it seems to be the most common one mentioned in other threads, specifically for HD Advance, rather than HD Loader.

    Tag, you might want to make sure it's compatible with your PS2 VERSION. I believe sometimes a drive will be compatible with a particular version of ps2 but not others...

    Also, dont forget to check your jumper settigns on the hard drive. I should be set to "master", many hard drives come as slave configured tho.
