compatible recorders for nero 5.5.9.15

    Hi,

    I have been using nero 5.5.9.15 for three years now and it works great burning cds!
    I would like to buy an external dvd-rw writer to make dvds.

    Would any new writer be compatible with nero 5.5.9.15, or do I need a writer that came out a few years ago when that nero version came out?
    I just want to make sure, I get something compatible, and that nero will recognize it.

    Alot of new drives will probably come with an OEM version of Nero, why not just take the dive and try a newer version of Nero?
