Is there a way to replace my laptop casing with a new one with cool graphics. I dont care about my warranty cause it only has like 2 months left? I have a HP DV9000. Is there a site that sells casings and not cheapo stickers that are just gonna peel off.Or is there a site where you can buy OEM casings with out any paint or anything so you could paint it yourself. i gotta a friend that does graphics for cars so he could def. make it flashy. It would be like pimp my ride for laptops. Thanks

Why not just paint your existing case? You can remove the parts to make sure nothing gets damaged and then reinstall them after it's painted.

well im afriad that the paint will chip off cause cause the paint already on the casing will not let it stick well

It's usually recommended that your use sandpaper first. You can also use some compounds to fill-in any cracks or scratches. For the screen, you can usually just use a thick piece of construction paper that's slightly larger than the screen and slide it under the edge of the casing. This will prevent paint from getting on the screen without having to fully disassemble it. It's certainly a tedious task and should only be performed if you're patient and have time to devote to the project.
