component transfer error

    hello, i'm trying to d/l a store bought sims deluxe and when i get to 95% it comes up with a little window that states "component transfer error". Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

    by d/l do you mean copy or install ?

    if install virtual drives create problems with sims games turn off any you are running

    sorry bout that, yes i mean install. And i only have one drive, and all programs are turned off when i try to install it.
