When I first bought a BD drive for my HTPC, I tried to find a guide that covered just about everything needed to convert to the Matroska format. I ended up doing quite an amount of research as there was nothing comrehensive aimed at newbies. I have written this guide, mainly for myself. But also a way of thanking the [unknown] contributors to it, some of whom are respondents to these forums. Without their efforts, we would all have vastly less knowledge on the subject. I had originally planned on just posting the images, but, given its length, I decided PDF format would be best. Please excuse type, editing and/or minor guide errors. Blu-ray To MKV Transcoding Guide Have made minor update to guide incorporating details on cropped encode having green lines with DTS audio PS. I'm not going to continue & do this. It was the one thing I was not really happy with in guide: so this should be the final product. But never-say-never
