Is it possible to compress audio files so that I can get more of them on a 80 minutes CD. I need to use audio as opposed to mp3 files so that I can play them on a stand alone CD player.
Most standalone CD players play MP3s, unless its pretty old it should play MP3s. Have you, just to see, tried playing an MP3 CD in the player you are talking about? If not, you should try it just to see. I am not sure what you could use, other then MP3 format, to compress audio files to a CD. What format are the audio files currently in? Peace, Pop Smith
Use WMA format, depending on what quality you want they can be anything from 3mb to 15mb for a 4 minute song
