compressed videos that work

    what is the most compressed video format that i can use and still enjoy the video i compressed? i know there are alot of types out there but i want the best one for compressing videos so i dont have to have like 20thousand dvds to hold my videos if you know of any high compressed vidoe formats pls let me know thnx

    Well the best format i think in my opinion is .avi, and the best program for compression i think is winavi.

    is the h.264 a good compression ? i am tryign to get more than 10-15 videos on my cds and i find that my current avg with ogg/avi/or most other codecs are 24 (i use 4g dvd+r's)
