computer and tv sharing sounds systems

    hey there i joined to ask if i can share just one sound system between the tv and computer and the computer is hooked up to the TV to use at a monitor sometimes. thank you in advance

    Yup. Connect your PC's line out e.g. to your amplifier/receiver's aux in and select "Aux" if you want to play back audio stuff on your computer. If your amp/receiver only has one line in you need a seperate switch or try to connect TV audio out -> soundcard line in and souncard line out -> amplifier (In this case you won't hear your TV if your PC is off).

    hey thanks, but will the sound system work even if i am watching cable? i was wondering because the system is hooked up to the computer
