Hi there, can any one help please i got a new starview 3 box yesterday it only had fta software on it tried to load new software got to 33% done then lap top crashed reset lap top and flashed the box again it said download complete but when i switched on the box and done a channel scan it finds 18 channels but the channels are only numbers,and they say bad or scranbled im on ex c&w got a box in bedroom that works ok have a killed the box when the laptop crashed thanks for your help cheers matt.....
wouldnt say so!!.. are you trying to download using Vista, if so if you can get a loan of a XP computer there should be no problems as there seems to be issues with using Vista
ok, turn the emu on go to set default key & press ok Exit to s*y sports & let it update. EDIT - As Des said, its a newer b0x so you`ll need the 8.00 for the uk & the 7.09 for Ireland.
ok thanks il try 8.00 but when you say go to s*y spo*ts i cant because i dont have any channel after the scan i done a reset after the downloading failed and dont get any channels..
The best thing to do is a factory reset Menu > factory setting Pin - 0000 ok to delete TURN THE B0X OFF AT THE BACK FOR ONE MIN THEN TURN BACK ON English > installation choose provider auto scan > ok channels found Exit Menu > 1570 Turn EMU on Exit back to channels.
always handy to have box in front of u to get all info and dont be leaving us in suspence,i hate serials having to wait for next episode lol
ok back home now and its good news flashed the box with firmware 8.00 done a factory reset scanned the channels and everything works thanks very much for your help cheers again, matt..........
