Computer Crashes when Encoding

    No matter what program I use to convert movies..VSO DivxtoDVD to Mainconcept mpeg converter.My computer crashes at about 15% complete.Ive reinstaled,Defrag,Reformated my HrdDrv.etc..etc to no avail..any help out there.I sure hope so

    Are you sure your computers not overheating ?

    Could also be bad RAM. You might want to run some stress tests and see if you can replicate the crash.

    philraz..No its not overheating..had this problem once before,something to do with a corrupt .dll..but for the life of me can't remember..Someone here at AD helped me before,but damned if I can find which forum it was in..also had a bitch of a time finding the missing .dll on the net,but finaly got it
