computer crashes when playing games

    i have a Radeon x1650 videocard, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz, 3,070MB RAM.
    Whenever i try to play a game it crashes like 5-10 minutes in, i can play half-life without problems though. i just some help because its really starting to annoy me.

    sounds like your computers not powerful enough to run the game.might help if you type what games your actually trying to run.

    deus ex and half life 2 should run fine.could be that your video settings are wrong.im not a computer expert.
