computer format to dvd

    i just got a DVD burner for myself and was wondering is there any software out there that will allow me to burn computer format films to DVD so they work on a player?

    i can copy dvds and get hem to work i just cnt find a converter to change pc formats to dvd.

    please help :(

    I think you might need to be a little more specific. Also take a look at the forum rules, anytime someone mentions "computer format films" little bells go off! We are more than happy to answer your questions but we like a little bit more detail, ie: programs you have used, file types, system specs etc.

    If they are in the Mpeg format, you can use either TMPGEnc or MainConcept mpeg Encoder.

    These can also be used for AVI file types but you will need the correct codecs for correct conversion to DVD compliant mpegs.
