This is the deal. Ive just starting copying movies and My computer keeps freezing up while im burning the DVD SHrink file with NERO 6. THe odd part is that its hit or miss. Ive used DVDFAB to put it on the hard drive. Iv also drop my Burn speed down to 2.4X and left the BURN AT ONCE left off.. I know my computer is not overheating because it has an aftermarket fan that sounds like a freakin vacuume cleaner. ANY IDEAS cause im making alot of costers. THanks Warren
Try uninstalling nero from your system, then install the latest stable version that will work with DVD shrink is using the autoburn method. Install Nero6 version 6.6.0.18 Write down your nero serial# and then uninstall nero from your system using the general cleantool found here: http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, install package 1 and then 2, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go. nero version 6.6.0.18 updates: Package 1 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe Make sure your burner's firmware is up to date and use good media.
