Boot into your BIOS, and set the settings to Default, then save, and reboot.

You may have to clear the CMOS, if you don't get anything at all on your screen. Pull the battery out of your computer, for about a minute or so, put it back in, and try again.

Hey, I ment to say that when i turn it on, nothing comes up... at all... just like the monitor had never came on.... and my dad tried to manualy reset the CMOS on the mobo... its a 2 pen... and nothing happened, i forgot, he took out the ram,and umpluged the hd, and no beeps, not even befor he did this... and what do you mean umplug the battery...do you mean the power supply, and if so, i have already done that, i dont know if it was umpluged for a minut though.... Thanks for the help, write back....

Pop the motherboard battery out, then use the jumper to change pins, thus resetting the CMOS. Let it sit for a minute, then put the jumper back on the pins that they were originally on, and put the battery back in. Make sure that you put the battery in the right way.

BTW, the battery is probably in the lower right side of the motherboard.

Also, unplug the computer before you touch that motherboard.

No he means the battery on the mobo. Take a look at the mobo. There is a battery there bout the size of a dime. Its basically a watch battery. Pull it out and wait a few mins. Stick it back in and the cmos should be restored to fac specs.

    :>
