Yeah, I have a computer by compaq and it is about 5 years old and I have update mostly everything on it. Well I was downloading a music file and my computer started to slow down, mostly I it's the temporary internet files that slow it down for me but when I did, it still was slow. I restarted the computer andwhen it loaded up to the main windows 2000 screen it restart the computer over and it does for ever ten seconds i get to the screen and repeats. So does anyone know what the problem is?
Turn off ur pc. then turn it to safemode (f8,f9,f10 try them all) then from there delete that song u were downloading bcoz most likly thats what happened ...it happened to me when i downloaded Dameon Tool's Virtual Cd Drive
Check your power supply fan. When your power supply fan stops working it overheats and constantly restarts on it's own
@Hersh8302, Post a qeurie in the Windows Spyware And Virus Discussion, sounds malware related and would be the first place to look anyway.
