just went to best buy to get a new monitor. i didn't think about it before, but they had a gateway monitor that was advertising that it was 720p. is this standard in most/all monitors? i ended up buying an LG because it was the fastest response time and best contrast ratio. how the hell would i tell what my monitor is displaying at? it claims to be hdcp compliant whatever that means
Refers to the Resolution that the screen can reproduce... 1080p highest quality HD signal... 1080i is second highest HD signal... 720p is the lowest level of HD available... p stands for progressive... i stands for interlaced... I just picked up the Gateway 24inch at best buy it is a 1080p...
