computer no longer accepting any new hardware ( driver's won't install)

    i have a old computer running windows xp and it will not accept any new hardware because it is not allowing the drivers to be installed i have ran Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and it has not found any virus's does anyone have any idea's what might be causing this problem

    If you can remember the error messages, that would be great. How much space is left on the HDD?
