I bought a new I/O Magic external burner Monday. It was working Monday and Tuesday with no problems. This morning when I went to hibernate the laptop and unhook everything to bring my laptop to work hibernation got stuck because explorer or something wasn't reponding. I got the error saying the computer couldn't transfer files to my E drive (external hard drive) and F drive (the burner). I thought nothing of it because this is a normal error I get about the EHD after unhooking it and restarting the laptop later without it plugged in.

Well anyway, now my laptop won't read the burner as being plugged in. I tried it in all my USB ports and it doesn't work in any of them. However, if I unplug the new and plug in my old on (same I/O burner- just the older version) the computer reads that one without a problem.

I tried uninstalling all the USB devices and drives- that didn't work.

Any ideas how to get the new burner to be read by the laptop again? Thanks
