I just built my first PC. I am on to building my second one and was curious if anybody could tell me some places to get the best prices on mobo and cpu's or any other parts. I use tigerdirect.com and computergeeks for my first venture. Thanks.

ZipZoomFly.com and NewEgg.com are two of my favorite, great prices, and customer satisfaction.

    I third that :)

Both excellent places to buy from and customer service is top notch!

Yup, those are both great stores, but make sure you check pricegrabber.com as some smaller stores might save you quite a bit of money.

ZipZoomFly.com and NewEgg.com are my top 2, running a close third is Mwave.

I ordered once from Mwave, and now they spam with a bunch of special offers!!!

Never had one from Newegg or ZipZoomFly.

I've made several purchases from Mwave and I have not gotten any spam. I guess I'm just lucky.

Look for a mid size retailer that has been in business for at least three years. Small dealers may give better service but 60% of retailers go broke in their first two years. Large dealers may have cheaper prices but generally lousy service. Go down the middle road.
