this is about the computer in my sig. I have it set back to clock speeds but it still restarts when I get to the windows desktop.
The temps are fine. I think it is the Windows installation, as I hadn't activated windows and when I took out my CMOS battery it reset the time and I was forced to activate. So I was using my computer when it told me to do that by clicking on the Microsoft website and then typing in C:/ to browse my drive. After I found my product key in my documents folder I activated and it returned to the normal desktop, at which point it restarted. I'm writing this from safe mode, I'll try recovery to see what happens.
