Sorry Hammo89 for the late reply. You replied to your own thread and took away the 1 post. If you still need help do the following: Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall: [bold]IpWins[/bold] Then, delete this folder: C:\Program Files\[bold]ipwins[/bold] Next, download [bold]SmitfraudFix.zip[/bold] to the desktop from here. * Extract the files to the desktop. [bold]Note:[/bold] [bold]Print or copy these instructions to Notepad and save them. You will be in safe mode and can't access the internet.[/bold] * Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (upon boot press [bold]F8[/bold], select "[bold]Safe Mode[/bold]" from the menu and press [bold]Enter[/bold]) * Open the [bold]SmitfraudFix[/bold] folder. * Double-click [bold]smitfraudfix.cmd[/bold] * [bold]Select 2[/bold] and hit [bold]Enter[/bold] to delete infect files. * You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer [bold]Y (yes)[/bold] and hit Enter in order to remove the desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection. * The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer [bold]Y (yes)[/bold] and hit [bold]Enter[/bold] to restore a clean file. * A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at [bold]C:\rapport.txt[/bold]. Restart in normal mode and run a scan only with HijackThis and check these(if there): [bold]R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = O2 - BHO: (no name) - {743497C7-5B61-CC0A-FB64-0551A8520A21} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\shhrlwk.dll (file missing) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file) O3 - Toolbar: Protection Bar - {bf1ced2c-4b3f-4079-a330-864eda5a4cff} - C:\Program Files\Perfect Codec\iesplugin.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [qytyavh.dll] C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\qytyavh.dll,paaqscd O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IpWins] C:\Program Files\ipwins\ipwins.exe O21 - SSODL: featherweed - {ab340860-fd81-4a65-b345-82eb77a66b5e} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\jbtazy.dll (file missing) [/bold] Close all windows except HijackThis then click "Fix checked". Close HjT. Then, rename HijackThis.exe to any name of your choice. Run a new scan and post back with the log along with the contents of rapport.txt.
