How do i speed up my computer? i've defragmented, checked for errors, disc clean up...what else could I do? I have 9 files on my system tray which are all important such as firewall, virus, safely remove hardware, msn messenger, graphics, sound...

to be fair it should be running quite well.

you dont really need to have all those things running in the system tray though. its not essential to have your graphics config running so you can close that, if you have any other sound config (not the speaker icon) that can be closed.

what type of DDR do you have... if its not 400MHz PC3200 then id get some of that as it will give you a slight boost. other than that i cant think of much to make it run faster apart from a complete clean install of windows (that always seems to grease up your machine)
