Well, all of a sudden I started to try and use DVD Shrink and now my computer doesn't even recognize there is a movie in my drive. This has happened before but I can't remember what I did to finally fix it. It was a year or so agao. I hate computers. Any ideas!

    Hello dreaming.

Assuming it's an internal drive, go to WinXP Device Manager and uninstall the drive:
    1. Open MY Computer
    2. Click on View System Information
    3. Click the Hardware tab
    4. Click the Device Manager button
    5. Click on the + and expand DVD/CD-ROM Drives
    6. Right click on the name of the drive and select uninstall
    7. Restart the computer

Does My Computer not show the name of the DVD or does Shrink not show the drive or both? Is this an external or internal burner?
