I have been using DVD Rebuilder Pro for about six months without problem. Yesterday, I batch processed to movies for the first time. The options that I selectd were the "one-click" and "shutdown the computer when complete". However, when I checked this morning, the computer was still on. Both movies were fully processed however, so DVD RB Pro does work in batch mode. Does anyone have an idea as to why the computer did not shut down?
Are you sure you ticked shutdown at rebuild completion? You might of accidently ticked close DVD-RB at REBUILD completion instead of the first one.
Also did you have any program that crashsed our wouldnt end its self causing your computer not to be able to shut itself down, as this had been the reason for my computer not to shut down many times. Could be just a one time thing.
I don't know if there was a program that crashed, thereby preventing the computer from shutting down. (It is a good reason to explain what happened however.) Also, there is no place to tick close DVD-RB at REBUILD completion. Either I can't find it, or it doesn't exist on my version of DVD Rebuilder. I can only tick Shutdown at One-Click Completion in the Mode menu.
I replaced my version of DVD Rebuilder Pro (1.00) with 1.09. The upgrade version has the shutdown options mentioned in the post by pazzini that my older version didn't. Anyway, I selected "Shutdown at REBUILDER Completion", and the computer did shutdown. I wonder if a bug in my older version caused the "no shutdown" problem? Thanks for the help.
Strangly enough I also had the same issue with the last issue of DVD-RB(1.09.0). Even though I ticked "shutdown at rebuild completion", it did not work. This lastest version(1.09.03) and previous versions worked fine.
