when i turn on my computer the user id read xppresp3 and it ask for a password i dont know what to do my son was pushing all the keys on the keybroad and it lock up asking me to put in a password
You son created a new user with a new password. Try logging in by entering your normal username and password.
If that doesn't work (or you forgot your password) use this to boot your computer and reset all logon passwords. I've had to use it a couple of times, never let me down. http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
