This is probably a stupid question, but I was just concerned when I noticed that different spaces on my Volume Mixer were all black. I unplugged my microphone and speakers, which are built into my monitor, while the computer was on. I restarted and everything but now this happens when I open my volume mixer, sometimes:

And sometimes the lettering of Windows Sounds is bold. I tested my audio, and everything is fine. There is nothing unusual with the output from my speakers, but I was just being safe. Can someone explain this? Like I said, this is probably a stupid and not at all serious thing.

If you fool around with settings you do not fully understand in different parts of your computer, you will eventually get your computer in a state of chaos. I don't know if this applies to you or not.

Ummm. No, I didn't mess around with any settings. I am actually pretty good with computers for as long as I've had one. I'm very cautious when I want to do something new with my computer. I just said that I accidentally unplugged my mic and speaker cords. I did not mess with any settings. Thanks for the help, by the way.
