Hello Everyone, I am looking for help to convert my Sony Digital video camera from Pal to NTSC. I got it from Malaysia, and when i tried to hooked up with the TV to watch what I have recorded, the picture comes out shaky, unclear and in back and white. I was told the the system is different from that used in Canada. What do I do? How can I convert my Digital Video camera to the System used in Canada to be able to watch my recorded videos on a big screen Apparently the Asian system is different even if I was using a Sony TV I would really appreciate your help.
It's impossable to convert the camcorder to NTSC, however you could use software to convert the footage recorded into a DVD or VCD. This could then be viewed on NTSC equipment.
Thanks duggie... I must say I am disappointed I can't convert my camcorder......i thought with tech like todays, they make everything multisystem guess not!! thanks for the tip again.

Hey Dean! During a trip to Australia i bought a Sony Handycam *DCR-TRV33e* (a PAL based handycam). However, since i live in Canada, i cant use it anymore.
