Hi there hope this is the right forum anyway having a bit of a problem ive recently upgraded to windows media center edition and wanted to view the pc on both my flat screen montor and TV at the same time i want to view the same picture on both screens I have an ATI Radeon 9200 256MB card i have been using the catalyst Control center that comes with the latest drivers and it does work but what its doing is cloning the image from my monitor but on my monitor the resolution is 1220x1074 which is fine for my monitor but when i view it on my TV the reoosution is to high and i have to scroll around the tv to view the whole thing badsicly i wont to turn down the resolution only on my TV so that the wohle desktop fits on screen so far havent been able to do that with catlyst control center was wondering.... 1. is there any software out there that can do the same sort of thing i know there used to be something for nvidia cards but cant remeber what that was called. or.. does any one know how i can fix this problem anyway how 2 are there any websites that can help thanks alot for any help much apreciated
well this is kinda the right place but u got to explain to use what kind of tv u have...once u tell us that we might be able to find out if u can or not
well it also depends if u gonna hook it up though dvi or s-video...i suggest a dvi cable if ur tv support it. well anyways about resolution it will have to depend if ur tv will support it or not i not sure if ur tv does or not.
its thorugh s-video in to a scrat conection my tv goes upto my monitors resolution which is 1220x1074 but at that resolution on my tv im having to scrol around to view the start bar and basicly any part of the screen that isnt visible untill i scrol over it
well s-video not that clear as u can already see but all u have to do is set ur setting to clone and u will be able to see ur whatever u do on ur moniter but i dont think u will be able to get it at 1220x1074 with that set up
