i downloaded a film onto my hard drive.it plays well now i wish to put it on a dvd so i can w\tch it on my home dvd player. i looked at the properties and all it says is windows movie and the size is 699 mb can any one tell me what i am supposed to do next. i have nero6 but i am confused what to do. this is my first attempt at trying to do this many thanks eddie4751
If you have Nero try Nero Vision Express it should be able to convert your file to MPEG. Here is a guide using avi, but just substitute your file. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/NVE Basics.pdf Or you can try ConvertXtoDVD by VSO, I think there is a free trial of the program http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ Convert the file and then you probably will need to compress so use either DVD Shrink or Nero Recode and then burn.
