Hi all I am reading the forums with great interest. The only problem is I am reading articles everywhere where th eposter says they have the starview, or the box t or that they are about to purchase these etc. Where do you purchase this kit from? If I click on the link in a post, I am brought to a spec page on thsi site, clicking on "external links" privodes nothing. I have tried the "Hardware" tab but get the same results. So, please do tell, where do you guys purchase this kit from ? Many thanks
There are many suppliers, to many to mention and it is doubtfull that you will get a recommendation of a particular supplier, however if you put in a search at the top of the page, you will more than likely get a couple of suppliers. Also it depends on what box you are looking for, go to fleabay and put a search in there and read all about them, and decide on what type and model you require, the Starview and Starview The Box are getting a little dated.
malci I am totally confused as to what box I should buy. Here's my situation. Just moved into flat in Galway Previous tennants UPC installation is in place but expired (no channels) I have a parabolic grid ariel outside coming into a black power adapter ANT port, it has with 2 antenna ports (TV and ANT). From there the cable goes into a UPC DVR. Using the DVR I can see epg and can listen to radio channels but no TV apart form thumnail size RTE 1 when looking at TV guide. So can you or anyone tell me what box I should get ?
