Well i didnt know how to put a tittle on this thread,so ill explain. I am using intervideo Windvd creator and when i make a movie and do all the steps and click the last one which say make movie ,the computer test the DVD and let me know what quality i can make the movie,i usually end up checking 120, and its showing that the dvd is full and i cant put any more footage on the dvd but when its burned it looks as if the dvd is only 3 parts used ..WHY??
If you have burned the DVD without leaving a multisession option open, the program will have finalized the disc and therefore you are unable to add anything more to it, as far as teh computer knows, it is full. The disc content has been written in stone and closed at the end of the data. If you go into options, you should be able to check a multiseesion tab that allows multiple burns on a DVD R beforeing finalizing. hope this helps
Hey thanks there ."themiget" but i dont see any such option.ya have any idea where i can look to find that option??
Im not sure for Windvd creator. I know Nero is under Burn preferences(or used to be, when i used it), Sonic is under "tools"-"options..."-"data". Anything like preferences or options should hold the key for you. Id check on Alcohol 120 for you as it does have a sweet program and it has a decent trial period, but mines acting up . Sorry and i hope you can find it in WinDVD. Note, if you want to play it in a DVD player, by allowing a multisession or enabling the addition data afterwards, you may not be able to play it in the standalone.
