My friend has been renting DVD's and then burning them, I know its not leagal and is a threat to all people who copy their own DVD's for private use,.... i was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on what i should do,... or maybe tell me what the punishment or fines are for canada if your caught so i can try to scare her in to obaying the law cause im afraid she's going to get into real bad trouble,.... any help or sugetions would be welcome
Their is a old saying my friend....its only illegal if ya get caught..muhahaha! So personally I would say dont worry unless she decides to sell the copy to a undercover pig...ahhh....i mean cop..sorry. So dont fret.....I do it too....ah...wink....maybe not...i only back up my movies, but dont fret. Its cool!:>
oh,... its not like she would do that,. its just that she brags to almost everyone,... even the store clerk at the movie store for crist sake and im just worried,.... and i think that if i have a lot of info about it and i was sure about what i was saying i could at least convince her to stop telling the world she's doing somthing ileagal
If she is the dumbass to preach to the world then she will learn real quick to keep her mouth shut. I think you should stay out of it and wait till she falls and hit her head...then at least ya will still have a friend in the end....but if you snitch then you will lose her. Let her find on her own.:>
