confusion?

    when burning vcd's does it depends on:

    1) the lenght of the clip
    OR
    2) the size of the clip

    i ask because i keep reading different answers when i google

    hi with a standard cd the max size is 700mb or 80 min, you can get 800mb cds also, hope this is of help

    does this mean i can have a high quality clip say 1gb that is 40mins on a cd-r.

    or is the size of clip dependant

    you dont get a choice of size or time, 700mb runs for 80min, if you burn less than 700mb the running time reduces accordingly

    i think before you go any further you might want to put this in the right forum this is a CD not DVD.
