can anyone teel me how to connect starview clone box to a laptop. i have the cable and the Gt rom downloader and 257 fix bin file but do i need software for the laptop to recongise the box please help
In 5 easy steps ... 1. plug cable in - one end in pc, the other end in starview box and switch the box on 2. run GTRom 3. load the .BIN file into GTRom using the menu 4. click on Download button 5. use the search function next time, it's well documented throughout the forum. simple isn't it? >)
hi thanks for your reply i managed to get it connected and downloaded onto trhe box the file i downloaded is _STAR_VIEW_H20060816_257eE_api_FIXED and it did not work is this the proper file????
incorrect file ... you need the CryptStar-v14-Core257.bin file from here flash that to your clone and make sure the Key EMU is set to on to get to the CAS System menu where the Key EMU function resides, press MENU then type the number 1570
