connect laptop to tv by hdmi cable

    Hi Guys cant get sound on my tv with hdmi connection from laptop,it was working for ages then just stopped,i have sound from the laptop

    Bad hdmi cable? Bad connector out of laptop? Bad connector into TV?

    First try connecting to another TV. Then try a new cable. Should help narrow the choices.

    should be able to run independant audio cable direct from computer audio out (head phone socket) or all three if wanting hd audio,that's how i get sound to the stereo & or tv

    Hi guys tried your suggestions of new cable and tv and no joy.Then i did a system restore and that worked so working fine ow.
