Connect Ps3 to Pc Moniter ??

    Hi....i was wondering if anyone on here could help me ???

    i have a playstation 3 console...and im using a normal tv which i am now getting bord with and i cant reali afford a hd tv because im only 15 years old....i was wondering... can i use a pc moniter i have a 19inch lG Flatron Wide Moniter...ive heard that you can use a HDMi-DVI Cable to put them both together but before i go and buy them i need somone to tell me if it will work or i there an easyer option..??

    Please help :)

    It should work fine with a HDMI to DVI cable. Keep in mind you will need something for sound.

    I think your monitor has to suppert hdcp but im not 100% sure but i think it does, just check it out before u buy a cable..
