connect w800i to computer

    everytime i connect my w800i to my computer it says charging on the phone screen but in windows it says device not recognised on the taskbar tray. am i missing some sort of drivers or something?

    any help would greatly be appreciated

    I would have thought that you may have to install the drivers that came on the CDROM with the phone but thats based on my K750.

    I had a few problems connecting my SE phone to the PC, so now I just just a card reader/writer to access the card, though thats no use if you want to access the phones internal memory.

    Other than installing drivers, I'm not sure whats up.

    i never got adriver disc since the phone was second hand. do you know where i can track them down?

    You download the software from Sony Ericsson at:

    http://www.sonyericsson.com/

    Once there select the country you are in and then when the page loads, click on Product Support. From there you select your phone model and at the next page click on Software Downloads and download what you want.
