hi, i was wondering if anyone could help. i have a laptop recently restored to factory setting but when i go to run ie 7 i get nothing my wep key has been entered ive tried using wired ive disabled firewall it says its connected on both but i can go on google with my ie7 anyone help the pc is a compaq presario c300 with win xp mce 1gb ram intel centrino and a intel pro wireless 3945abg and wired is a realtek rtl8139/810x family fast etenet NIC
Run the cable from your router to your laptop and see if you can get on the internet. If not, then you have an ISP problem. If yes, your wireless configuration is incorrect.
Check and make sure the drivers are still installed for your ethernet card. Doing the restore might have un-installed them. If no, then you will have to re-install the drivers. Good luck, let us know.
