Connecting 360 controller to ps3 help

    My friend is a 360 gamer and I told him that COD4 is better in ps3. So he is comming to my house but there is one problem. he is not use to the ps3 controller so is there a way to connect 360 controller to ps3?. I have firmware 2.20 40 gb ps3 PAL version. Please help

    errr, Yes and No, Those controllers communicate in a very different manner. The 360 controller communicates 2.4GHz radio frequency while the ps3 controller operates via bluetooth.

    Now the only way to get the xbox controller to communicate with teh ps3 would be to install some linux on it, and make drivers that lets the linux communicate with the xbox controller.

    But in all fairness, this is very advanced stuff and you would need to know how to install/admin and generally operate in linux environment.

    So running a 360 controller naturally with a ps3 is not going to happen.

    They already have a 360 driver for linux. Also you could try a mod found at the link below but it is kind of advanced. I'm thinking about making one myself but don't try it unless you've had experience with a soldering iron. Check here. This will work for your games if can complete it.
