Hey guys I've got a weird problem. I have my laptop connected to the TV because I want to watch my .avi files on a bigger screen. I have an s-video cable going from the laptop to the tv analog. Now, I can see the desktop and everything fine on the tv but when i try to play any video files the video doesnt show on the tv but audio does. Does anyone know why the video isn't showing on the TV? Everything is fine on the laptop... Any help would be appreciated!
Try different Resolutions, Like the Lower the Resolution the Better because it will be closer to your TV"s Actual Resolution...I hope it helps...Cheers
HI Did you try to go on desktop right mouse click propertys -settings -advenced- displays and set your TV as primary? this should eneble you to watch the movie on your tv have fun watching big screen
An other way I have managed to get all types of Video to display and change setings of playback is to extend the desk top onto the TV. Right click on the desktop and in Settings check extend desktop onto this monitor. The you can drag over the video player of choise to the TV and still have your Notebook to edit or change any display settings. Have fun with the big screen.
