A dreambox 500c has no modulator for the coax output.
Connect the dreambox to a old vcr via scart, switch to av at the vcr and use the coax output of the vcr.

As what the poster said above I think the Dreambox only has a loop out on it.
The Starviews and Digivox's have an rf out afaik

Or get yourself an "RF Modulator", Scart input from dreambox, Coax output to multiple TV's.

Bear, why is scart not an option for connecting the box?.
Another option is to connect it through a VCR or DVD player/recorder , using the scart imput on those and a coax from them to TV, this will also allow you to record what your watching.

The reason why scart is not an option is because I bought a connection called SLX link its for using the box on two tvs at the same time in different rooms so that the kids can watch there cartoons and I can watch my tv at the same time it works through the RF output on the box the scart goes to my tv and the rf cable goes to the slx Link connection and that plugs into the kids tv so that the box can push out two different stations at the same time

Where would I get such a connection like that it might do the job for me
if it aint expensive if it is I might be better off getting a second box

i wasnt aware the dreambox was capable of sending out two different signals at the same time, have you actually got it to do this.!!!
    That would be good ?

Dont think that is an option for you, get a second box ....probably less than €100, or cheaper as some may have given up on them before the fix.
Im not an expert, but i doubt the box will send out two different signals. i dont even think it sends out a usable RF signal for coax at all.

How do you come to the idea it would be possible to get 2 different channels from one box with one tuner?
You get the untouched cable signal from the rf output of a dream 500 and because the cable signal include the analogue channels you can get the analogue channels via the analogue tuner of a connected telly.
You could also connect a second digital box to that output but that is it.
Btw if you connect a additional telly to the RF2 output of sky box you can get only the same sky channel via the outputs, not 2 different ones.

A slx link is for controlling a skybox via RF2 from a other telly, for instance in the bedroom, and you get exact the same channel via coax than via the scart output.
