connecting dvd recorder to sv box

    hi,
    can any one tell me if i connect my sv box to my dvd recorder can i record a channel say s++ sports and still watch another channel at the same time say S++ movies or can i only watch the channel thats being recorded. if its possible could u tell me which cable goes where. Tks

    You can only watch what you are recording through a SV , but you can switch to tv and watch the normal channels

    You need 3 scart leads
    1. SV to TV
    2. DVD to TV
    3. SV to DVD

    Also use a coax connector from SV to DVD to view normal TV

    tks for coming back to me sorry for delay - yep looks like i'll have to get another sv box to keep the rest of the family quite. Seems they all want to watch channels on sv box. tks again i'd be lost only for this site. :).
