    Hi peoples,
I just ordered a new HD tv with 2 HDMI ports, no DVI. My DVD has only a DVI port. If I get a HDMI/DVI cable, will that work?

Okay, I just wasn't sure because I looked at an HDMI/DVI cable at the store, and on the back of the package it showed that it worked only if the DVD player had the HDMI and the TV had the DVI. Mine is the other way around.

Then maybe the cable won't work? I can't imagine why. Are you using a cable box, mine has DVI? That would be dvi to dvi. You could always try the cable, dvi-hdmi, and if it didn't work, return it.

Hello all. Question; I have and lcd tv which has a dvi video mode. Does this mean that I would have to get an adapter for an hdmi cable? I'm a noob when it comes to hd. Thanx in advance.

Go to www.Monoprice.com and you will pay a lot less for your cable.
