The Nintendo Ds only supports WEP encryption and only supports 802.11b aswell, maybe this is your problem with the DS not connecting to your router?

ds lite WEP only will support MAC address as well try it with a password no longer than 10 letters, numbers. do not set hide ssid as it won't work

only other way leaving a pc connected to the internet, and use a usb WFC nintendo adapter
