    Hi all :)

    Heres what i got:
A pc tower running windows XP home edition using a virgin media broadband modem.

A laptop running windows vista home premium with built in wireless
that can connect successfully to a BT hub.

Is it possible to connect everything up so that the they both can use the net ie:tower with a phisical connection and the laptop using its wireless functions?

Just to clarify, my service provider is virgin media im currently using the cable modem, a friend of mine who is moving house doesn't want the BT hub, thought i could get some use out of it. If not its tough poop for me and i will have to buy my own hub!

    Some help will be appriecated

You want a wireless router. Get one, connect the modem, to the wireless router, and connect the router to your XP machine.

Both computers will connect to the net with no problems. That is the system I am running, with a Linksys WRT54GL router.

I don't have Virgin Media, but I don't think that it matters.
