When I am transferring files from xbox to PC or vice versa using Flashfxp the connection regularly drops and I have to disconnect and reconnect for the files to continue transferring. If passive mode is on I get the message "502 pasv is not implemented" then an IP address then "can't open data connection". If its off, it still disconnects I just don't get the 502 message. I have tried transferring as an FTP and an FXP from FlashFXP but same thing happens. And its not the connection itself, cos when playing online it never disconnects. Its really irritating cos I can't leave the transfer alone, I have to constantly keep an eye on it. So any help would be appreciated.
Sounds like a timeout in FlashFXP. Does it have an anti-idle option or anything like that? Have you tried another ftp program and had the same results? I would try a trial version of Cute FTP or WS FTP or even the dos command line and see if the you still have the same problem. If they work then you know it is a setting or problem with Flash FXP.
